Clarity IoT Handheld Temperature Probe

Interfaces directly to the Clarity Automated Compliance Checklist (CA2C) and the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) dashboard. Readings are automatically stored into your checklist. Per your customer HACCP procedures, all readings are stored directly with user info, temperature reading, time recorded (CA2C Subscription required). Non-CA2C users get automatic email of digital time and temp.

Plug and Play Sensors Available

The Wired and Battery Operated 4-port sensor node can be customized with up to four (4) of the following sensors.

AC Current Meter​

AC Current Meters measure the RMS current of an alternating current (AC) system using a current transformer (CT) that wraps around the “hot” wire of a two wire (hot, common, ground(optional)) power system. The sensor reports Minimum RMS current, maximum RMS current, average RMS current, and amp hours to the Clarity IoT system. The Clarity IoT system is capable of generating watt hour or kilowatt hour readings as well.

Accelerometer

Accelerometers can be used in a host of applications where knowing impact, vibration, inclination, etc. is required. The accelerometer – tilt sensor activates at a set time interval (defined by user) and converts accelerometer measurements to pitch and roll (0 to 180° -> -180° to 0°). The data is displayed in degrees with 0.1° of resolution.

Airflow

Airflow to measure airflow thru airduct or controlled environment, also used to determine if filters require replacement

Carbon Monoxide

Imminent danger of CO poisoning is a growing concern in the care for elderly, child and immuno-compromised individuals. Helps meet the growing demand of legislative and public concerns regarding the monitoring of gas leaks and emissions.

Seat-Occupancy

Wireless seat occupancy sensors use a stress plate with an integrated flexible, stress sensitive ribbon to accurately measure when (force) is applied to the plate.

Current Sensor

Current Sensor, 0-20mA current meters are capable of measuring the current off another device or sensor, up to 20mA (DC), by connecting the leads of the sensor to the positive and ground terminals of the device being measured. Examples of interfacing devices include, but are not limited to: Current transducers (CTs) with outputs up to 20 mA, pH sensor, dissolved oxygen sensor, pressure sensor, magnetic flow meters, velocity or acceleration sensors, industrial vibration sensors, industrial accelerometers, any kind of sensor that specifies the output is in (mA) within the range of 0 – 20mA.

Door Open/Close Sensor

Open/Closed sensors provide information on the status of doors, windows, cabinets, etc. Know if a building or area is being accessed when it should not be, or if a door or window has been left open.

Dry Contact

Dry contact sensors can be used to detect contact between two wired contact points.

DC Voltage Meter (Low)

DC Current Meters measure the current of an (DC) system. The sensor reports Minimum current, maximum current, average current, and amp hours to the Clarity IoT system. The Clarity IoT system is capable of generating watt hour or kilowatt hour readings as well.

DC Voltage Detection (High)

Wireless voltage meters are capable of measuring the voltage off another device, battery, or sensor.

Illumination Sensor

Wireless light meters measure the intensity of light in lux (luminescence/unit area), from 0 – 1000 lux (indoor range). Perfect for light sensitive applications like museum and art gallery light monitoring.

Light Meter

Luminosity measure of radiated of a radiant power emitted by a light-emitting object. Examples for Luminosity meter use:

  1. Determine of light in a room is on/off
  2. Determine if an equipment is on/off
  3. Determine life cycle of equipment

 

From collection this data the Clarity IoT system can determine, Room cycles, equipment hours, life cycles and others.

Indoor Air Toxin Sensor

The Clarity IoT Air Toxin Sensor is a combination of 6 sensors that can detect temperature, relative humidity, PM2.5, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds. 

Liquid Level

Level sensors detect the level of liquids and other fluids and fluidized solids, including slurries, granular materials, and powders that exhibit an upper free surface. The substance to be measured can be inside a container or can be in its natural form (e.g., a river or a lake). The level measurement can be either continuous or point values. Continuous level sensors measure level within a specified range and determine the exact amount of substance in a certain place, while point-level sensors only indicate whether the substance is above or below the sensing point. Generally, the latter detect levels that are excessively high or low.

Magnet Detection

Solid state magnetic detector consists of position/proximity and speed modules.  Used to monitor door position, equipment position/usage and others.

Motion Detection

Solid state motion detection accelerometer, tilt, vibration are some of the solutions that can be satisfied with motion

Wireless motion sensors use an infrared sensing technology to accurately detect movements made by people/animals within 16.4 ft (5 m) range.

Pressure Meter

The wireless grains per pound sensors measure the mass in grains of H2O in otherwise dry air. Put simplistically, the measurement is the weight of water in air.

RFID Asset Tracker

Wireless asset sensor can be attached to an asset or object and outputs an RF signal at set intervals to be received by the gateway and monitoring system. Gateway Required.

Dishwasher Report Module

Standalone sealed module, no buttons, switches, or display. Just place within the dishwasher 3 – 4 times a day per your Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan and automatedly records and time stamps your reading.  Per your customer HACCP procedures all readings are stored directly with User info, temperature reading, time recorded (CA2C Subscription required). Non-CA2C users get automatic email of digital time and temp.

Vibration Sensor

The wireless accelerometer – G-Force max & avg sensor samples at 800 Hz over a 10 second period, and reports the measured MAXIMUM value for each axis in g-force and the AVERAGE measured g-force on each axis over the same period, for all three axes.

GPS-Asset-Tracker

The wireless accelerometer – G-Force snapshot sensor activates at a set time interval (defined by user) and measures g-force along X, Y and Z axes. Primary use is as an inclinometer or tilt sensor.
